By inviting, configuring, or using Adhan Bot in your Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Description of the Service

Adhan Bot is a Discord bot designed to help server administrators send prayer time reminders, play a 10-minute prayer reminder audio, and play the Adhan in a selected voice channel at prayer time.

The bot allows server administrators to configure:

• A text channel for prayer messages.
• A voice channel for Adhan and reminder audio.
• A country and city for prayer time calculations.
• Prayer reminder settings.

2. Server Administrator Responsibility

Server administrators are responsible for configuring the bot correctly using commands such as:

• /settext
• /setvoice
• /setlocation
• /settings

Administrators must ensure that the bot has the required permissions in the selected channels.

3. Required Discord Permissions

For the bot to work correctly, it may require:

In text channels:

• View Channel
• Send Messages
• Read Message History
• Manage Messages

In voice channels:

• View Channel
• Connect
• Speak
• Use Voice Activity

The Manage Messages permission is used to delete previous reminder messages when the prayer time arrives.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Adhan Bot for:

• Spam, harassment, abuse, or disruptive behavior.
• Violating Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Misrepresenting the bot or modifying its use for harmful purposes.
• Attempting to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the bot service.

5. Availability

Adhan Bot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We try to keep the bot running reliably, but we do not guarantee that:

• The bot will always be online.
• Prayer reminders will always be sent exactly on time.
• Audio playback will always work in every server or voice channel.
• Third-party services used for prayer times will always be available.

Server administrators should not rely on the bot as the only source for prayer times.

6. Prayer Time Accuracy

Prayer times are calculated using third-party prayer time APIs and depend on the selected country and city.

Different calculation methods, local authorities, or mosques may use different prayer times. Users should verify prayer times with local trusted sources when accuracy is important.

7. Data Storage

Adhan Bot stores server configuration data necessary for the bot to function, such as:

• Server ID
• Server name
• Selected text channel ID
• Selected voice channel ID
• Selected country and city
• Reminder settings

8. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or remove features from the bot at any time. We may also update these Terms of Service when needed.

Continued use of the bot after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Termination

We may disable or restrict access to the bot if:

• The bot is abused.
• A server violates these terms.
• The bot is used in a way that violates Discord policies.
• Technical or security issues require action.

Server administrators may remove the bot from their server at any time.
